Fantastic turnout for the rearranged GPX opener – Fireman’s 2UP Duathlon in Rivington. This is a tough event with a tough hill to run up to get started, followed by a hard ride then that lovely hill to run up again! A great team event as you have to stay with your partner. Everyone smashed it with notable performances from the Wilson brothers who topped their age category and were only just beaten by a handful of open category athletes!

With Vicki and Andy Smith topping their age band too. Everyone else put in a sterling effort in a tough race. Great efforts from Ben and Elaine, Carl and Andy and Julia and Caroline. Well done RTC!
