Exceptional weekend of racing and supporting by RTC. First up on Saturday was the National relays in Nottingham. 8 RTC teams descended on the event with probably the same number of supporters in tow, we definitely had a presence judging by the number of times the commentators mentioned RTC.

The morning teams were RTC under a vest (Nic lees, Andy rogers, Angus Robinson and Mike Bundy) and RTC girls rock (Katy Rothwell, Natalie Williams, Lauren lett and Tanya aka Janet Grintstein). Both faired well posting some great times, Nic taking the honours for fastest bike and run and Lauren the fastest swim of the RTC crew.

As the temperature rose the 6 afternoon teams took up their starting positions. Some great performances and team work all round albeit with a slight dampener after Stephen Mellor crashed but looking at his update he is fine. All the teams got to the finish line and it was great to see so many of them coming down the finish straight together. The teams were

RTC vets (Alan Herilhy, Ian Oliver, Stephen leak, Mike Atkinson)

Seals (Trevor Morgan, Jenny Grindrod, Teresa Hollins, Stephen Mellor)
