Our Awards night was held on 18th February 2022 - Awards were presented for outstanding achievements in the year 2021!

HERE ARE OUR 2021 WINNERS:

RTC Recognition Awards:

Nemo Award someone who not only swims fast, but has put in the distance too. He had swam (when we checked) 1,835, 587 yards since joining Strava! : Trevor Morgan

Free Wheeler Award someone who has cycled the most and, in fact, 7 days a week most weeks: Martin Shepherd

Forest Gump Award someone who never stops and has trained consistently, improving their running: Karen Day

Virtual Community Award someone who kept the RTC community going with lots of virtual races and events, particularly during Covid times: Neil Hollingsworth

Pop-up Award someone who pops up supporting everywhere; at the top of steep hills and other random locations with bells in their hand: Joint awards to Katy Rothwell and Jenny Grindrod

The One to Watch Award someone who the ladies need to look out for - this young superstar has been dedicated throughout the season and has been selected for the NW Junior team: Emily Wilson

Best Dressed Award someone who has kept the club dressed in blue and yellow over the years: Karen Vale

Brutal Challenge Award someone who is the most modest of all triathletes and whose grit and determination earned them winning the toughest iron distance triathlon - Triathlon X Extreme: Philip Smallman

International Award someone who competed for GB in Valencia: Jenny Kovacs

Day and Night Award someone who supports Ironman until the end!: Carl Holdaway
