West Lancs Spring sprint Tri - Report By Our Grand Prix Coordinator
Looks like some brilliant racing at the West Lancs sprint triathlon, race 2 of the Grand Prix series. Team Nattan look like very early contenders for Grand Prix honours building on their impressive result at the 2up duathlon.
Natalie Williams probably had the most outstanding result finishing 14th overall but securing 2nd V40 female with a scorching 22.39 5k run to finish.
Tana Tanya Vengrinova was close though, finishing a brilliant 8th overall and 3rd in the female Senior category with a storming 20.34 5k.
Theresa Hollins lost out on 1st place in the v60 by only 6 seconds but still a brilliant 2nd place. Victoria smith was close to a podium securing 5th in the v50 category.
